Indian Sandstone Patio Project
This patio was built as part of an on going landscape project in an old Portsmouth town house. The patio was built using a black slate flag stone, finished of with black granite set edging.
We started by taking up the existing lawn which we found had been laid on top of a concrete base!!!
Once we had cleared the lawn we had a blank canvas to work with.
The area had a scalping base laid down and we set about laying the Indian sandstone patio.
The edges of the patio were finished off using 100mm granite sets.
The drain was boxed in and the patio faced off with granite sets.
Finally the patio was pointed in.
